I used to think that when you get past 75 you're then breathing someone else's oxygen, but as i get closer(ish) to 75 i'm not so sure about that now. Maybe i should up the age cut off point to 90?
I think with cycling and a decent lifestyle you’ve got a chance. Good luck.

When asked if i have any ambitions in life i tell 'em yes,it's to cycle 10 miles on my 100th birthday. They look at me as if to say pillock, but why not i ask?
100 maybe but you’ll be sat in a chair not knowing what day it is. Thinking about been elderly Is simply freightening. Sometimes I wonder if it’s a blessing to go more 80.

There was this fellow https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...-record-cycling-14-miles-hour-robert-marchand, but he's definitely the exception not the rule! I saw one of the 'oldies' from my former cycling club cycle past me yesterday. He was going/struggling up a hill. He's getting slower and looking more uncomfy every time i see him and he's ''only' 77. "Get a move on" i shouted in supposed jest, but by the look on his face i don't think he found it amusing.
