The 70's and 80's was a classic time for British comedy. Hi de hi, The good life, Rising damp, Allo Allo Dads army, Only fools and horses etc.... The ninietes and early 2000's were pants, Upper hand, My family (there are more but I've forgotten them as they were so poor) only recently have we seen class coming back through, Miranda, Gavin and Stacey...

Sorry but I thought Hi deHi and the like were class and fresh not the hackneyed re-run plots of recent years....

I could probably name 15 memorable (and more importantly funny) sitcoms first screened between 1975 and 1985 (and I was only 7 in 75) could you name me 15 first screened between 1995 and 2005.....

Yebbut when I was 7 I thought Rentaghost was brilliant...
