Quick question
Is it a simple job to convert a Rackbag to a handle bar bag using handlebar bag fittings

Won't the attachments for the rack bag be on the bottom, and the attachments for the bar bag be on the side?

its velcro straps on the bottom which i can cut off so no problem there im just wondering how you attatch a fixing to the bag. Do you just screw through the fabric?

This adapter/extender fits round the seatpost - and is compatible with the R&K bar bag type fittings.

there are no fittings on the bag at present im trying to adapt the bag ie retro fit rixen kaul fittings to it

You will need this and this. Just make holes in the bag for the adapter plate and screw it in place with the supplied bolts.

That's exactly what I did with a handbag!

My wife wanted something more "handbaggy" for when we were shopping etc,

We bought a handbag with a fairly stiff back, fitted the plate and that was it!
