On the way in this morning I saw 2 cars, one of which had fairly obviously jumped a red, crumpled together, with the roof of one already having been removed. It looked very serious. The car with the roof removed was in complete bits. I wonder if they now think that the wait of a whole minute at the red would have been worthwhile.

I stopped at a red for a ped crossing near St Paul's yesterday morning and had waited for about 10 seconds when 3 people started to cross and a BMW X3 went straight through and missed 2 of them by inches. The driver had absolutely no idea what she was doing. I said to one of the peds crossing that "I thought that was my job" which he quite liked.
