that's very generous of you mikey, banged out this weekend but I certainly would like to see one in the flesh, and say hello properly after our fleeting encouter on the Dun, pm in the near future hopefully, where's 'the park'? Regents?

yep, got you on the stopping power thing, I was just saying I'd have braled with double power too if I'd managed to get the front brake on to any effect

as for roundabouts, that's a deadly one, assuming the vehicle in front will have gone by the time you get there, old bikers saying, the most important thing will nearly always be right in front of you

Kensington Gardens mate, I'm working there most weekend days if it's dry, so you can easily take it off for an hours ride or something. Oh, I'll also be up at Tatem Park cnr A10/A406 on a couple of Sunday mornings if that works better for you?

a406/a10 is fairly local to me so that suits, never seen that park properly before, it looks rather nice, if you'd like to let me know when you're there I'll try and wobble along and say hello and finger the goods, I think the quality of the footage speaks for itself, it's just size and weight and so on I'm interested in

and say hello properly natch

thanks again fella

Amber means stop.

But you can go if the amber appears after you have crossed the stop line or are so close to it that to pull up might cause an accident.

I know what amber means

You're not supposed to let other people read your books or newspapaers either

Stopping at an amber in London is far more likely to cause an accident than not

There's more than enough red to go around

Stopping on amber is never likely to cause an accident. I suspect you mean that a poor driver/rider who is not paying attention and is tailgating the person in front is likely to cause an accident if the person in front needs to stop suddenly such as for an errant ped. Sometimes even if they need to stop predictably for an amber light.

a fine point, caused in that if you'd not done it the accident wouldn't have happened, anyway, I was was being flippant, I go through amber because i can without flagrantly breaking any law or the HC, never on red but amber yes, I spend an incredible amount of time waiting on reds as it is

oo and on the way in my first high speed left turn across me, rock solid primary in the bus lane going down the long hill into Camden from Holloway Road, 25mph+, car acclerates alongside and past me indicating left, I watch with interest than across me he comes and then tries to slow down enough to turn left with another cyclist waiting to turn right out of the side road and watching with interest, suffice to say the car makes a complete cock of it and even with anticipation I do lots of braking and fishtailing/trying to say on and thinking I won't be able to stop in time, I wouldn't have either but luckily he managed to get into the side road and tear away, grrr, not fun

Grrrr
Shudder
Cringe
Fume and back to Grrr, what are these people thinking, glad you survived the idiots behavior Tynan.
