So, you're at the front of the traffic, and there are other cyclists there with you. I think that there were four of us waiting at a red light this morning... Then two more cyclists bomb right past you and turn left through the red light.

When you inevitably catch them, what do you do? Do you tell them? Does it help?

I don't think telling them would really help other than to give them a low opinion of you; I prefer to shoot past them hopefully they see that you're much faster to wait but I wouldn't hold my breadth.

Sometimes I hope they will rlj because I find some of them a real pain slow and god knows what.I know it's bad.Technically I don't really care anymore.

You really think they're going to give up because of what you said? Come on.

Perhaps some of them just don't know, especially if they see lots of other cyclists doing it, and perhaps if enough people mention it to them they'll stop doing it.

I would lose my voice if I did that in London.

Actually I think it can work. I used to RLJ occasionally until I realised what a idiot I was being. Sometimes people just don't think and they need reminding. I know there are some pricks out there who will give you verbals back and if you conver them then that's a good thing.

If I see someone drop litter I genreally pick it up and make some comment to them - it's a similar thing really.

Of course your own personal safewty must be taken into account at all times.

Bomb past them, and then at the next ASL stop my bike in an annoyingly obstructive mannor so they can't get past. Obviously this means not bombing past them too quickly.
