Road bike. Budget £450. 52-54 size frame?

I saw that but I'm pretty sure a 54cm cannondale will be too big, they come up on the larger size. My 5'6 female friend rides a 51cm wsd version and she says it can feel stretched

@burntoutbanger save yourself some money and buy second hand Ebay: Kinesis Racelight T2 54cm Ultegra group set or Specialized Tricross 54cm sure @ELL or @User would be up for a cycle chat sale

Both might be too big though, so ask the sellers how tall etc. they are
