Hi,
I have a road bike with 700c wheels and (as I now have a new road bike) want a more multi terrain bike to go off with the kids on canal towpaths rougher ground etc. Have already got new straight bars for it as the drops went onto the new bike.
Any ideas on what is best? New tyres to fit 700c if so what. just want to make it a bit more suitable for ruggeder (!) terrain.
Cheers
Steve

assuming there is clearance between the wheel and the fork crown at the front, and the back wheel and the seat tube, you can fit wider tyres (and tubes) to your existing wheels.
