Hi all,

For some time I've decided to switch from my old trecking bike to faster roady.
My options would be Kestrel Talon Ultegra 2016 and Pinarello Razha 2015.
Prices right now are almost identical as Pinarello has been discounted lately (around $1600).
Pinarello Razha has a 105 gear while Kestrel is on Ultegra but not 100% (just the deraileurs and shifters).
Pinarello is a clasic road bike. Kestrel Talon is a versatile aero bike that could easily turn into a TT bike.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Which one do you need or desire the most, a 'classic road bike' or a 'versatile aero bike' that could be turned into a TT bike?

Thoughts. Well I just bought a Fuji Transonic because I wanted aero. Given that I do most of my riding alone, aero seemed to make more sense. If I were going to ride socially in a group sucking a wheel the aero would probably have less of an impact and would be happier with a CAAD.

I could tell the difference between 105 and Ultegra; yet many are already happy with 105 and if you are happy why pay more?

The Pinarello frame and brand has a better reputation and would probably hold it's value and be more durable from what I've read. Your choice.
