Cycling home from work Friday evening with a work colleague,(who is new to cycling) we cycled through traffic on a busy dual-carriageway towards the roundabout to our exit road. Shortly after we heard a screech and car horns blarting then a 4x4 and coupe car passed us at speed and they both stopped suddenly in front of us. The 4x4 driver got out and opened the door of the coupe a threw a number of punches in the direction of the driver. Other members of both vehicles got out and was quite heated. Within no time they were back in their vehicles chasing each other at speed in heavy traffic. I just thought...petrol heads that need to grow up and buy a bike and get rid of of the aggression. Our ride home was without incident!

I think it was wednesday afternoon that I was riding home from work, came around a roundabout to see a car being booted and punched by some irate man on foot. First time in a very long time that I've seen someone lash out. Last was an old fella with a walking stick halfway across a zebra and a driver couldnt be bothered to wait, drove right in front of him. Old boy ran his stick down the side as it passed, must have left a nice scratch. That must be nearly 10 years back.

We all know there are some lunatics driving cars these days. I have found the best way, if you do something wrong on the road, just hold your hand up in acknowledgement, I have found this works everytime and avoids any confrontations.
