i really need a new saddle- i use bib shorts with good specialized body geometry padding but still it does hurt after a while!

dont want to spend too much- 80quid max but its pretty important if im spending alot of time on the bike!

iv heard good things about the san marco regal saddle which i guess is partly because you 'break' it in so it becomes kinda moulded. thing is this might be more of a retro fad and because boonen uses one!

anyone have a specialized saddle? what are they like?

discussion and advice would help alot in choosing one that is worth the money and will benefit me!

cheers

I've just recently got one of the Specialized body geometry range of saddles, can't remember the name but it's a couple down from the top of the range, around £50 IIRC.

It's transformed things for me as the standard saddle on the Trek 1.2 was murder for me after about 30 miles. With the Specialized I put in my first 50 miler last week with no significant pain. Definately worth considering I'd say.

I've found the Specialised Toupe the most comfy thing on two wheels. Get measured at the shop first though to make sure you get the right width.

Yep agree with that

I'm currently looking at saddles and am hoping to go to Sigma Sports in Kingston for a fitting, I found them via the specialised.com webiste. Just put in dealer locator and specify BG(body geometry) fitting and your postcode.
