Can you recommend any gloves with good gel padding for riding on hoods.

I have Endura Strikes but the padding is not good enough.

Any thoughts

Thanks

I do a lot of my riding with my hands up on the hoods too and my Sealskinz gloves are nice and toasty but have hardly any padding on them either. So I would be interested in anyone's suggestions too.

I'm going to take a look at the Edinburgh Bike Co-op Revolution 3 season gloves next time I'm through that way, they look pretty good for the money and apparently have a good bit of padding on them, or at least that is what the blurb on their website says! :-

Thats a good idea......why didn't i think of that !

Here's another tip worth a laugh.

Wooly gloves, £1.99 from Wilkinsons ( they were when I bought them ) with cheapo track mitts.

I have a can of 'Rubberoid' paint in my shed. The stuff for sealing flat roofs.

Dip the fingers in the paint ( while being worn ), massage in and wait until dry. This gives a better grip on the brake levers.
It don't come out in the wash either.
