Rollers

Just purchased a 2nd hand set of rollers from a bloke up my road. I've done a very wobbly couple of miles in the garage clinging on to anything I could, including my wife! My 16 year old son wandered in, laughed and said "You're weird...." and walked out again .

This could be a challenging winter project, I'm never too quick to pick up new skills, sadly I seem to learn by mistakes.....

Apart from balance what are the advantages of using rollers over a trainer for winter training?

I find them less boring than a turbo as you have to concentrate on balance.

Tip for balancing look at a point in the distance as if you were riding up the road and don't make sudden handlebar movements Good Luck!
