Rooms in Dieppe

I'm looking to spend a couple of days in Dieppe and am thinking about the Etap as it's fairly central. Does anyone know anything about bike parking there? Or can I just stick the bike in my room?

They have a cupboard under the stairs. It's fine but there were a lot of other cyclists there when we were there last year so was quite full.

Etaps generally don't let you take bikes into the room. For that you need a Formule 1, where you get en suite bike but not bathroom.

Cheers Frank. I assume all your bikes got in the cupboard though?
I'm just getting myself sorted early this year as I missed the ferry booking last year. I'm not planning on going to Paris though, just spending a day around Dieppe.

Yes, worked out fine.

We had a really fun day in Dieppe. In a way that you only can on no sleep, lots of beer, fine company in a beautiful setting on a sunny day, in France, with good food...

If you don't make out at the Etap then there is always the Formule1. Its up the hill out of town but does have the benefit of:

* Cheaper
* No probs with bike in the room (apart from Tim's tandem!)
* Opposite a retail park with AFAIR a huge Auchan
* A few chairs and tables outside to consume Auchan wine & cheese
* Well positioned if heading south

F1 is not everybody's cup of tea but if you don't mind the shower/loo arrangements they are a bargain. It, like Etap is just another Accor brand.
