Rotor types bolt on or centre lock.

My current wheels have bolt on rotors. I have seen a set of wheels I would like to buy but they seem to be compatible with centre lock rotors

What are my options here - if I buy a set of centre lock rotors am I good to go ? Or is there more to it than that ?

Brakes are Shimano ultegra

No, it's that simple.

All you need to do is make sure the new rotors (such an Americanism in my mind, I feel more comfortable calling them discs) are the same size (i.e diameter) as the originals. The alignment such be very close to the same, you might just need a minor tweak to get zero rubbing.

There is another option, although I have never tried it, but you can buy centrelock to bolt on adaptors (but not the other way round) that will allow you to use your current bolt on discs with the centrelock hubs/wheels.

Just a thought, make sure the new wheels are the same axle mount as your old wheels, i.e Q/R, thru axle, etc.
