I wrote asking for a copy of the risk assessment, and what they have (finally!) sent me is a risk assessment relating only to the risks imposed during the works. I have replied asking for a copy of the RA relating to the completed works, but it is rather looking like they didn't carry out one. This makes the prospect of getting them removed rather better.

However, they have said that they were never intended to be as severe, and they attached a copy of the works plans which supports this. They say that temporary tarmac works are being done to smooth them, and that proper remedial work will take place afterwards, so it is probably worth waiting to see the results of this.

Rotten Row is in London and Rottenrow is in Glasgow.;)

Yep - the extra space and Capital letter on road signs costs money that a true Scot wouldn't waste.

Same response as me. Like you, I'm waiting to see the improved work.

A similar cock-up happened with Clapham Common. IMO, they have it right there, after the initial botched traffic calming attempt.
