They are basically the same bike, the main difference is the Roubaix has a carbon frame and the Secteur is aluminium, so the Roubaix will be lighter and stiffer.
Being lighter and stiffer should improve acceleration and help with climbing.
I have a Secteur and plan to upgrade to a Roubaix next year, but I do no expect a major performance difference..

As an owner of a 2010 secteur and a 2011 Roubaix I think that in the first 20 miles of a ride you wont see much difference. After 20 miles the more compliant ride will be noticed. After 40 miles you might feel a little more fatigued on the secteur. After 60 you will want to be on a Roubaix.

So really it depends on wheat you want the bike for.

If its for commuting to work I would be happier leaving an ali frame to the rough and tumble of bikeshed life, and the secteur can also take a rack.

If its performance and long rides then its he roubaix, all day long.

Having both bikes at one time (now just have the Roubaix) never a truer word has been said.

I only have a Secteur (2010 secteur comp) but it's been an absolute dream to ride! Unfortunately gonna have to put it up for sale. Can't comment on Roubaix but I can say that the Secteur is one very comfy bike.
