This event is coming up next weekend. I rode it last year and its a great day out. Proper food, great countryside and a decent selection of hills. The only drawback is the number of cattle grids - there are a lot of cattle grids. Like, I mean - loads !

Not doing it, but out off curiosity which route are you doing . Which ever is going to be lumpy . I did the Rutland sportive ran by the same company excellent organisation. Have a good day

The ride starts and finishes at Cafe Ventoux in Tugby - here is a screen shot of the 74 miler I did last year:

As you say, its a bit on the lumpy side - but some lovely countryside and the roads are all pretty quite.
