Actually funny story, my old man used to look after my eldest son a few years ago quite regularly, he'd take him out to the shops every time. so my old man, in an old army jacket with a flatcap or sometimes without showing off his bald head and my son in his pram.
he knows some of the staff at the local aldi and they had a new manager in one day and he decided to do some "security Training" whilst doing this he pulls out a load of cctv footage and starts going on about dodgy looking characters, whereby he gets to my father
"this chap in particular worries me, he's always in here almost daily in fact, i want him watched"
the staff burst out laughing, one of them pointed out oh yeah thats "older melonfish" he's not a problem we know him.
"well how do you know he isn't shoplifting"
"because he's a policeman"
"....Oh.."

But in Aldi it is suspected fraudulent use of a debit or credit card. (Perhaps as well as a shoplifter, they are going to need all the managers and security near the doors in either case.)
