Same Google Chrome problems on two computers.

Chrome keeps crashing on my laptop, which is otherwise relatively glitch-free at the moment, as well as on our home PC. Mrs Gti has tied to reload it on the home PC and is still having problems and this morning I have gone through the same process on this laptop and it's not working right.

Anybody else having problems with Chrome? Don't tell me to try something else, I've tried Firefox and went back to Chrome in the end.

is it when you are trying to perform a particular action or does it appear random?

Have you got the latest version? Update it if necessary. It could be some installed extension... turn them off and try it for a few hours.. then activate one at time until you find the problem..

Google Chrome is working perfectly for me. There again it's on a mini Mac so it's probably not much help.

Thanks. Managed to get mine sorted after an hour of frustration but Mrs Gti on the home PC can't even get it downloaded.

My Chrome kept crashing (I think it is conflicting with another program but I couldn't be bothered to go through identifying which one) so for the fourth time I gave Firefox a go - but with a bit more perseverence.

Having had to work at getting used to Firefox it was worth it - no more crashes and a lot of useful add-ons etc.
