The A range aren't stonkingly different from the S range. I would say anyone can work out for themselves how good they are from the specs.

Biggest problem with the A-range and why I never bought one was compatibility with certain apps. That's probably niche and irrelevant to most people.

Also depends what price you're going for this year's A5?
2gig of data for £12.00/month.
That fairly useless 3G data or is it 4G?

If you want a layman's tale it's like a cut down S6.

Two things you might want to know in respect of that though are samsung's u turn about the SD card slots. You can put in a micro-SD in the A5. The A5 is non-removable battery but larger than the S6's. 1080p. Only 2 gig of ram. Don't have wireless charging on the A5 ::sad:

Other than that yes, nice phone. For most people would be good if you're happy paying £12 a month.

I've been using one for nearly a year now. Perfectly happy with it, but I am not a heavy user and it's basically for emergencies. I'm with O2 on a contract. Does everything I need of it. Decent battery life, good camera and with an SD card will never run out of space for photos if that's one of your uses.
