Good bunkhouse in stornoway if looking for a bit of comfort at the end, Laxdale campsite. Was welcome on my recent trip battling against the north east head wind up through the Uists, Harris ans Stornoway

Hi Mick.........Paul Heaton this end...just read about finlay in the POA mag.....I have many memories of Finlay 13 yrs worth at Parkhurst in fact.....I stole the title of 'youngest screw' at parkhurst 1972 from him. I finished 6yrs ago and like you am into cycling altho more road than touring, I am doing LEJOG in sept 8th - 16th maybe catch ya on the road lol. good luck dude
