I am offered a Saracen Tufftrax MTB in very used condition, though everything appears sound. Its free, so the price is right, but is it worth taking this on considering it will likely need SPD pedals, possibly new cassette and chain - though forward chainrings looked ok.
Just a bit scarred - possibly a good bike for leaving around shops
Does anyone still have one - are/were you happy with it? Is it entry level or better than it looks techwise?
