Hi

Bit short notice but Col5632 and I are planning an informal and leisurely ride following the Kinross Sportive Red Route which is 68 miles long and takes you through some fine countryside.

WHEN: Saturday 7 April, we will be leaving Dunfermline at 10am and meet at Kinross Community Campus at 10:30am-ish (other meeting stops are available depending who goes)
PACE: Leisurely, with plenty of stops and opportunities for CAKE :hungry: at Falkland, Newburgh and Dunning - NO-ONE GETS LEFT BEHIND!
ROUTE: Following the Kinross Sportive Red Route, as follows:

All Welcome! Regards, Mark

2 problems with this for me:

1: Kinross is a horrible place to get to by public transport.
2: I'll be riding around Mull on Saturday (hoping for :sun:, preparing for :rain:)

Enjoy your ride - it looks like a nice route.

Hi Rasmus, no worries - pity you'll miss it but Mull sounds like a worthy substitute! You'll need to suggest some Weegie rides so us soft East-coasters can "invade"! Enjoy your weekend. Regards, Mark

I'll be out and about in the area taking a meander around a varation of the black route, effectivelly starting at Newburgh, grovel over the Wicks O'Grannie gear, Dunning, Knockhill, Cleish, south side of the loch and back home over Falkland. I would have joined you but I have to be back in the early to mid afternoon so I will being having an early start.

I hope to be able to join in this ride  - :rain:, :sun:, :cold: and :secret: dependant.

My current plan is to drive  to Kinross and back, so if any other Edinburghers are considering it - I can take another 2 bikes and people - 3 at a squeeze. I'd be leaving the Trinity area around 0915, should anyone be considering coming with me.
