Wish i could join you in this, some beautiful roads on that route as i discovered last Sunday, but busy in the morning and arranged a lazy 40 miler in the afternoon with a friend who doesn't get out often.

No worries, enjoy your 40 miler and no doubt we'll see you on the next one. Regards, Mark

... as opposed to our lazy 60 miler** with friends, some of whom get out far too often for me :heat: :surrender:.

** I can see some nice short-cuts  .... but not missing out the 'lumpy bits' :stop:

You'd have been fine, T - we cut it short and only did 70km (45 miles ?) from Kinross.

Kinross, Leslie, Falkland, Freuchie, Newburgh (good cafe at the Gulf service station :hungry:) , Glenfarg, Milnathort (ice cream ) and Kinross.

Weather wasn't brilliant - light rain :rain: , chilly breeze :cold: and not enough :sun: meant we had to keep going - which we did and Col5632 rode further than he has ridden before :wahhey:.

Hills were ascended and descended, no one got left behind, CAKE :hungry: was consumed ... but it was chilly.

Many thanks to Fubar and Col for arranging this, tempting me to do it - then turning up to make me do it ! ;)

Yes bit hard going today, adding in the slog up and back to Dunfermline gave Col and I approx 70 miles in total - pity about the weather. Nice cafe though :hungry:! Maybe next time for Dunning Hill . Cheers for coming along Scoosh.

2 problems with this for me:

1: Kinross is a horrible place to get to by public transport.
2: I'll be riding around Mull on Saturday (hoping for :sun:, preparing for :rain:)

Enjoy your ride - it looks like a nice route.
Perhaps you could give us the run down on your return. I would like to spend a week cycling / wild camping the island
