Morning

Leftover curried chicken thigh bones were cleaned up by Beans overnight. I have never known a cat to like anything curries.
He did a good job too.
It' cloudy and windless so that means there's cloud and no wind.

Is beans an indoor cr@pper? I've never known a cat owner to allow their cats to eat anything like that. Let's hope your forecast of no wind spreads beyond the meteorological.

Pleasant day in the capital. Might go and give that park run thingy a go again, and start nearer the front so that my first mile isn't spent vaulting dogs children and wheelchairs.

Morning on a fine dry but cool Saturday morning. Having a trot down to a local parkrun then stately pile tour with the OH. A bit of gardening later on perhaps before the crappy weather restarts.

curries typically contain onion, garlic etc. which are extremely toxic for cats, not instant, it destroys their red blood cells, there's no 'safe' amount

Yes, I was made aware of the garlic and onions. I certainly wasn't encouraging him to eat it. They were left out for disposal today. It was a pretty hot and spicy curry.

...and no, Beans is not an indoor toilet guy.

Decent ride ridden in nice weather, the back home, met the OH on the way after her ride with pals. Then beer and cake whilst watching the end of the Vuelta stage. Not a bad day....

Only 10km ridden today on a perfect cycling day, 70km in a bus, but needs must. Was still a splendid day sightseeing with friends.

Came back and did a *very* mean spag bol, with lots of garlic, onions and lardons. Should be enough for two more meals, so that's the last of the cooking done here.

Will take the lccy bike out for a spin tomorrow, probably afternoon, to avoid tidying up the house too much tomorrow. Monday doesn't look so sparkling, so that'll be the housework & house hibernation time.

Actually got a ride in with the lad. He wheel-sucked all the way and sprinted on the hills and left me for dead. TBF he's 21 and weighs a LOT less than me and hasn't had chemo and operations. Still enjoyable though and even though it was tiring I wasn't completely spent this evening for a change.
Turned out to be a nice day!
Wife off for 1/2 marathon tomorrow so a quiet night in.
