It's over? Oh buxxer. It is forecast to drop to 1C overnight Sun and Mon roon these pairts, will have to sort out some extra protection for all my luvverly plants enjoying life in the greenhouse.

Courier failed to deliver yesterday my next batch of stoma baggies (on prescription but delivered from a national provider), annoying to have the app saying you're next for hours while the GPS tracker shows the van wandering away. At least app now showing package back in 'local' depot, so 2nd attempt upcoming? Just as well I order next batch a couple of weeks in advance of running out of stock, which would NOT be nice.

Morning

Cooler indeed and breezy too.
Today will be mowstly very more peaceful 'cos that's what it is mixing words up innit, bless. Colorless [sic] green ideas sleep furiously kinda thing. Too much Donald watching/reading coupled with Nitrofurantoin Mercury - the anti-biotic from hell.

But, I can have a drink with it and last night I cooked Rogan Josh (or as Trickly says 'Roman Josh'). Not sure the Indians have influenced Italian cuisine much or vice versa. Chicken Tikka Lasagne? Hmm...

Chores and coffee and stuff...

It's my fault, This happens every year: I put out my Aloe Vera plant and then there's a possibility of frost.

Morning all. Blue sky's and 11 degrees in the tropical midlands at the minute. Local parkrun imminent. Tried new bikepacking stove out and it's brilliant. Waiting for rest of stuff to arrive, OH won't be happy 😖. A day of assisting eldest oxo child whilst he hones his diy ability. Ladder footing amongst it, he doesn't trust his OH to hold it properly. Suspect she might kick it out from under him after they had a recent lovers tiff. Enjoy the bank holiday. PS full of cold so suggest you dodge it folks.

A pleasant 17C now, washing in machine to put out before I cycle over to see a friend at a farm shop for coffee & cake (and to buy some supplies for the next batch cooking). Not much else planned for the day, but might take the drone out to play later somewhere IICBA.

Chilled start after pub and bbq with friends last night.

Current enjoying tea in the hot tub before packing up the van for a night away in the Shropshire hills, late pub lunch booked, now just need to drop hints about cycling there

Due to hit 20C today so just nice, best make the most of it before the nights start drawing in next month...

Decent lie in, slow start had and will get out with the hounds once they've woken up again. Lunch in town, haircut, weights, maybe wash Mrs. 666s car which has loads of bird s**t on it. Evening undecided, we might be lazy and get take away.

There's talk of snow later this month, sounds as though you'll get it before the rest of us though.

Had to wash our car as so many splattered insects on the windscreen we could hardly see out..
Takeaway sounds tempting.
