School holidays

I am finding hotel rates have skyrocketed for my LeJog ride next April/May particularly in touristy areas of the country and I am wondering if school holidays have anything to do with it.
Can anyone say when the school holidays will be next Spring, and do all schools throughout the country take holidays at the same time?

Normally half term end of May to coincide with bank holiday. Some boroughs stagger them though.

Easter hols is two weeks around beginning of April but moves around due to Easter

School holidays in Scotland vary by council area so you would need to check each of the councils websites along your intended need to find out dates.

All schools, will have term dates on their websites. Try sampling a few near to your stop offs.
