Hi all. I bought this bike from Grmany last summer whilst on tour....an impulse buy and as it turns out a wrong one I'm afraid as Triking doesn't seem to fit well with my touring plans....So I need to sell.

The bike is in lovely condition ( I thought it was new when I first saw it). The spec is........

Rohloff
Avid BB7 discs
Parking brake
Schmidt dynahub and B & M Lumotech lights with usb charging.
Marathon Racer tyres
Ergo mesh adjustable seat
Rear Rack
Mid Racks
Flag

Overall it's in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition

I have receipts etc and can supply pictures....oh and it's dark blue!

I paid £2.5k for it but know I'm not going to get my money back....but would be happy to receive reasonable offers.

Have you never tried claiming you've had the bike for ages and why doesn't she take an interest in your hobby? (I'm sure that's the strategy mine takes for dresses and shoes!)

If it was a df, I could probably get away with it.
She's got a PhD though, so I think she would be able to count the number of wheels and give me a monumental bollocking

Pikey. Dont mistake Education for Intelligence. I am sure some of my bosses have had PhDs and I could get anything past them.

I'm seriously tempted with it for my husband. He says he wants one, but I really will have to get rid of 1 or 2 of the other 8 bikes first to make space, plus we have just paid for a new secondhand car, or will this Sunday when we collect it which is sadly more needed than a second trike at the moment (due to my ongoing disability). But if it is still around in a few months I would be seriously interested

And we have the same storage problems for bikes.....amazing how they seem to multiply over the years isn't it!

I got rid of my ICE trike because of space. Only to fill the space with more bikes. :0)
