Yes you can eat seaweed. It's very popular in Korea and you can eat it raw, cooked or crunchy dried. I think you can eat the UK stuff as well.!!!!!!!!!!

I eat it when I have Sushi!!

Also I have had dressings for my feet from the Podiatrist that have included Seaweed in them, and very effective things they were too!! Seemingly it can have good anti bacterial qualities.

It can be good for your garden- depending on what you're growing, I spent many a rough autumn day as a child on the beach filling feed bags with washed up seaweed.

You'd use it in the same way as horse manure- it always made for an interesting garden.

I use Maxicrop liquid fertilisers at work, it is head and shoulders above any other plant food.
We have an old fashioned wheeled tank that we use to water the window boxes in New Court. I put a "scientifically measured" amount of Maxicrop in and then dilute with water. It smells like going to the beach!

Seaweed makes for a fine wig.

It always makes my misses laugh when I put a clump of it on her head when we're in the sea.
