Hi guys, first post so please go gently, any help greatly appreciated.
I had my Specialised Rockhopper stolen a few weeks back and in need of a replacement. These days it's really gentle road/trail riding with my daughter once or twice a week, looking to spend no more than £250-300, ideally less.
Choice at the moment is something like a Ridgeback Dual Track mx2 (£250 or so), or a local find on Ebay. This one looked interesting but any advice either way would be great as I don't want to make a mistake - http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=171829250849&globalID=EBAY-GB&alt=web.
Thanks for your valuable time, cheers

For gentle trail riding, I'd go with the Carrera Subway with a set of semi knobbly tyres. The Subway has proved itself bomb proof and is cheap as chips for a 2nd hand one. They're also surprisingly nice to ride (I use one to teach with, but also used it for several coast to coast and castle to castle rides)
