Have fun... :hello:

I got my passport for my last trip to Spain with my bike and it ran out this Spring. Those 10 years certainly went quickly!

Enjoy your week in Malta, pity swmbo overruled the Scotland trip, but to be fair, you did leave it a bit late in the year for that depending on where you were going and what you wanted to do once you got here. Next year, eh.:okay:

Thanks guys
To be fair it is 'Senior Managements' 50th next week, my 53rd, & was our wedding anniversary last week
So.………………. I guess I didn't have any say

After all, she bought me the Gran-Fondo. for my 50th (& we had a weekend in Whitby)

Would still have preferred Scotland, Whitby, or Morecambe though

Easyjet do cheap fares from southend airport to malta but even though i have never been there i really fancy gozo.
Anybody been there.?
Gozo is lovely, no where near as busy as Malta, especially at this time of year.

Head out towards the Inland Sea, but if you want to see the Azure Window made famous by Game of Thrones, you'll need to pack your scuba kit as it collapsed during a storm last year.

The Ġgantija Megalithic temples are worth a look - Malta and Gozo lay claim to having the oldest man made structures on the planet - history buffs have plenty to see in the Islands.

Back this AM
I woke up due to thunderstorms at 00:30 (local time), picked up from hotel @ 03:30
Flight @ 06:45
Landed at Yeadon, home for 10:45 (a friend picked us up)

Monoliths, we went to Hagar Qim
Didn't get to Gozo, but did a 'round Malta' boat-trip, & ended up at Comino(?)….. for 3 & 1/2 hours!

Enjoy yourself, don't forget Faith, Hope and Charity.
Only 'Faith' left now, but we saw her in the National War Museum
