Two wrongs don't make a right, but it does seem a bit childish for him to complain about something so minor.

If he doesn't have a right to be there, then he shouldn't be - end of

I do think that the bus lane policy needs to be funded and applied at a national level for motorcycles though as many towns will just ignore calls for changes to sinage due to budgetary constraints.

It works well in all the cities where I've used them with the m/cycle. I struggle to see a good reason why they should be excluded TBH.

I feel the same about cars that try to sneak along bus lanes, especially in the dark mornings. They can't overtake me cycling along the bus lane because I don't cycle in the gutter and there's solid traffic in the lane to the right. The drivers in that lane aren't about to let a car driver who they can see has been trying it on get back into the correct lane. So the car that's been aiming to undertake the solid traffic in the right lane ends up having to go as slowly as me and wait behind me at the end of the bus lane.

My favourite thought is probably the one the other motorists have: "Didn't get you very far, did it?"

Ouch.

His out look on life can not be to good if he has spot and point out over peoples wrongs.

Commuting is full of posts from "us" doing exactly that. In fact this thread started by pointing out somebody else's wrongs. It's what we all do when we're too young to have yet become "Grumpy Old Wo/Men".

;);)

I do, of course, agree with Mr Paul's sentiments.
