Hi,
I use pinned flat pedals on my MTB as does my wife.
I use cheap Duffs or other skatebaord related shoes and the grip and use is fantastic.
however , here in the Lakes, we do a lot of fells, and many many have boggy bits that soak through to my socks.
I use Sealskinz with trousers, but with shorts, they are too long and look naff.
My Wife has Five ten Karvers - monstrously expensive, but hey, it was Christmas :-)
But the Karvers waterproof as suc,h to a good way up her foot, and that's quite an advantage.
both for keeping feet dryer, and also not having smelly shoes taking most of the week to dry out before next weekend.
Any cheap shoe ideas for me? or even not so cheap ones :-(
