One tip is to get 100% assurances that they don't use Shitty Link as deliverers of said flowers. They'll be rattling around in the back of a van for 3 or 4 days otherwise!

John Lewis use this shower and, despite their flowers being very expensive, they never arrive on the correct date.

Slight change of plan. I have found a shop in Coventry that sells all sorts of nice edible and/or drinkable goodies, and they will deliver free if the order is over £10. She llikes things like Stem ginger, ginger biscuits, kiwis, etc, so that might be a less expensive option. I would think if I explain the circumstances, they could find a nice box to deliver it all in.

If I bought a bouquet of flowers at the local market, I would get a hugely ginormous one for £10.

I love getting stuff delivered even if I've ordered it myself - there's just something about getting a parcel/flowers etc that makes you think someone's thinking about you... (even myself )

Always find them good quality. Have ordered from M & S (crap) and Tesco (good) before too.
