The kids havn't even broken up for the summer holiday yet....and i've just seen an ad on TV for Christmas hampers :stop::cry:

I think there's an excuse for hampers - they are intended as a long term way of saving for Christmas, so you have to start early...

Anyway, what do you mean early, it's less than 6 months away now, you know.

I start paying for my hampers/vouchers in January

What's your problem?

I've already bought and wrapped some Xmas presents.

Me too - The January sales are fabulous

I don't mind thinking/planning ahead, as an adult with a family/children to buy for i'm all for it - I bought #3's birthday present (he's in May) last October, I buy a 'gift' a week, nothing expensive just the odd bits that can be put into a pretty bag to give to workmates/children in my class etc.
But what annoys me is, the ad was on a kids channel.
So of course now my kids are thinking Christmas, an hour ago they were planning their summer, which campsite to go to, & now they're talking toys!!
