A long (and I agree) interesting post, but if the author is willing to make cheap shots like that on the basis of a throwaway remark, I must wonder who else he is misrepresenting

the author of the first piece quotes a TfL study that suggests that pedestrians will not share space if there are more than 100 vehicles an hour. Now, anytime I've been down Exhibition Road the vehicle movements have been way higher than 100 and hour and the pedestrians have been in control.

Anyway, setting aside my quotation, it's a piss-poor piece of work, presumably written by one of the many CEGB clones that have fetched up on this forum and been made to look foolish.

The picture of Brighton is a bit of a give-away. Spot the gates. More research needed!
