Just shaved my head, first time I have had it short since I was about 8. Feels very weird. My hair is normally well below my shoulders.

i went from really long hair to having a number 1 crop.it felt so strange at first.id never go back though.maintenance free hair!!!!!;):biggrin::biggrin:

i used to have shoulder length hair, now its david tennant (doctor who) style and takes more looking after than it ever did when it was long, not brushed my hair for about 4 years (two of those years it was long, one year it was a bit shorter than my shoulders)

That must be hard. I grew mine to a pony tail length at Uni. For my first managerial job I thought I'd better get it cut. Went into the barbers in Solihull and it was like counselling "are you sure", "have you talked it over with your GF", "are you sure a 2nd time" etc

It was nice hair though, I used to pantene 2 step treatment it.

Looked smart afterwards though and have always had a crop since. You'll get used to it. Nice having not to worry about it.

some people would still look good with shaved hair that would make me so envious.:blush: i'd been thinking really of shaving it all off but my head shape isn't really that good (back part doesn't have that usual bump i'd see in people, mine's so flat!!!) and so everytime i'd attempt into going shaved, the thoughts of being laughed at scares me!:blush:

I want to cut my hair short too! Its by my elbows but such a nuisance i wear it up all the time. and i want to go blue too, but i dont think i'll have the guts to go through with it

You've done it at the right time of year. I went from having dreds to a No.2 on the 23rd December 1999, I had to wait around for a lift home in the freezing cold without my hair-helmet. I felt like a refugee!
