shifters for 16 speed defy

Looking for a pair of integrated sti shifters that would replace my thumb shifters on my defy 4.
Compact chain rings at front and 8 speed at the back

Ebay has 9 speed Microshift for around £80 from the Far East but don't know how those stack up

Ah indeed, 2013 Sora are 9 speed! OP has 8 speed. Illness has fried my brain

Was after used but if I decide to buy brand new ill probably spend the extra £100-150 and upgrade the whole group set to a 10 speed.
Will weigh it all up and decide what to do

Probably easier to get used Tiagra or 105. There are some good deals on new though, with voucher codes and the like
