Hi can any one tell me if the shimano r440 8 speed flatbar shifters work with a triple upfront?
Can't seem to find any info crc just says compattable with 8 speed?? (for flat bar road bike)!

the right hand will be for a 8 speed , the left hand shifter for the front mech should be 2/3 ring compatible.
looking at CRC i can only see the right hand shifter..

You can use MTB shifters too with road groupos. Many downhill riders ride with road rear mechs and cassettes.

Thanx for the info fellas I don't know much about road bikes but mtb I do!
