Shimano RSX dual shifters

Does anybody have a pair or just a left hand dual shifter going spare? Need one for my Dawes Audax I am sorting out.

Did strip the left one down but its the spring on the ratchet lost its tension.

When I needed a left hand RSX shifter I had a hell of a job a: finding one and b: finding one at an affordable price. Eventually I got one from America.

I see there is a pair on Ebay at present, but the seller states the left shifter is not 100%. For some reason the left shifters seem to be troublesome with this model.

Yeah I saw those Compo, put off by the lefty being dodgy. May change set up?

Once you sort out compatibility issues changing the set up may well be the cheapest and easiest option.

just had an afterthought. I am sure I have read on here about someone who repairs shifters. Perhaps someone will come along and let us know.
