Im having a right drama I got a flat tyre today for the first time with my winter bike ive got these old shimano wheels on it but im having a night mare trying to get the tyres off.The tyres which were on them are grand prix 4000s they are 700c-23 have I got the wrong tyres on them theres no size on the rim to go off I need to fix because I don't want to be stuck in the winter on the road side taking hrs to change the wheel and pinching the innertube heres

Some tyres are tighter on some rims then others.
Best thing to do is practice taking them off and back on again at home.

Practice does make things easier.

If you're struggling to get the tyres off I fear for you when you try to get them back on again! There are clips on youtube which might help.

Without tools is the way to go when putting the tyre back on but you might need tools when removing the tyre!

Unless you are a FNR TEC going by the name of Flying Dodo, then you can dispense with straps when replacing a Marathon Plus. Thumbs of steel is all that's needed.
