Well...my Veho Muvi Micro is still working, charging, etc, just fine  You can get it for just £44 from Amazon and another tenner for the sports pack. Hardly expensive - the price has dropped a lot since it was first introduced!

Probably helped by the fact that there are now a few other versions of it.

I did have a Veho Muvi and waterproof case, it was not very good, the Veho UK customer service was excellent, refunded all my costs without delay.

I have been filming my commutes using 2 md 80 clones , one for each way .

Lately i have not been bothering to film my commutes as i have found the battery life deteriorates and only just manages 35 minutes or so on a full charge which just about covers my commute and the endless recharge/wipe video routine.

I like the idea of videoing my commutes but find it a bit of a bind atm.

Should i just get my finger out and get on with it or what?

You do realise that to get its "full" 1hr40 out of it, you will have to charge it for 3-4 hours?

Also if you are charging from computer USB ports, maybe they're just a bit underpowered. Use the wall adaptor (make sure you have a 1000mA one).

If you are finding the need for it rare, but still cycle in a town/city etc - keep it on but not running so you can point it out to someone that might threaten you.

Life of batteries deteriorates overtime anyway, its only a 3.7v single cell 350mA battery few minutes with a soldering iron and a replacement will fix that, might even be able to shoe horn in a slightly larger capacity. (oh, apparently liion soldering is risky, if you're a pansy wuss and listen to all the cry babies).

My cheap clone is now only managing between 16 - 25 minutes after an overnight charge, and I've only had it a few months

Do you fancy selling it?

I just want a camera to play around with for a bit and don't really want to spend any money.

Thinking of selling mine, i have 2 with 4 gig cards in each, the sports pack as well, probably £50+ of stuff but obviously second hand(but good nick) so PM if interested with an offer or i shall post in the sale section with photos at the weekend.

£12.99 from 7dayshop (temporarily out of stock but more expected soon). (other options with more memory)

I guess no one has anything worthwhile to say on my VOX mode problem?

Are the clones any good?...I dropped one and it doesn't work now.

same thing happened to my clone. Just take it apart and there is probably a loose cable. Mine works now.
