i feel a bit guilty today as a couple of weeks ago i was approached by a work mate if i had a spare bike he could use . i said yes and he has been using said bike for about 3 weeks now .

however he came to me this morning laughing and joking about how he fell of this morning when the chain snapped as he was trying to pull away at a junction he ended up on the road with some slight grazing .

he seems ok about it all , but i do feel a bit guilty .

right or wrong any comments

Shimano chain? Only chain I've ever snapped was one of theirs and I have only ever had one Shimano chain which is a strange coincidence.

If he offers to buy you a new one I would recommend SRAM.
