Should I use expired C***d tests?

We have a 3yo box of tests under the bed! Innova.

I was sent home from work yesterday with a clear +ve test, and would like to test at home.
Exp Date: 2023.01.23

Anyone know if these are still reliable?

I doubt a few months will make much difference if its been kept in a cool, dry place.

Treat it like a dose of flu, keep away from others until you feel better. no need to keep doing tests for the sake of it.

If it’s any help When I had Covid symptoms back in February I had one of the old tests left .Result was negative.Sent for more test kits .Three days later still suffering New test kit still showed negative.

Several people on here have reported that they have felt really unwell.There seems there is something doing the rounds .

Test and see if it comes up positive - if it does I'd take that as a sign they're still working OK.

They're only 50% accurate mostly 50% wrong

Common sense now (very much depending on employer). Feeling unwell, work from home, too ill, call in sick. If you've got to be in (i.e. no WFH options), then unless you are really unwell, still go in.

I didn't come to any interesting or useful conclusion.
