Should I use this tyre?

I purchased some Prime 25c road bike tyres from Wiggle about 10 months ago. These are cheap tyres at £9.99 each (at the time). I got round to fitting them today, and I notice this defect on the inside of the tyre. It does not go all the way through and is only a couple of mm long. Instead of trying to return it, should I use it? Thanks

You could try filling it with glue ?

If no rough edges should be ok but would you feel safe ?

It looks like a minor imperfection in the rubber coating, rather than anything structural. I would happily use it as it is.
Fit it to your bike, pump up to the max recommended pressure, and if there's anything wrong with the tyre you will soon know!

As above (though I wouldn't bother filling it with glue). No sharp edges I'd fit them.

Do bear in mind that Wiggle do offer 12 months return on their items and it's free via Collect+.

Oops, I got them February 2016, so probably outside of the return period. I have fitted them but only pumped upto 60psi so far. I will pump them up to 100psi and see what happens.......

It looks like no more than an imperfection in the mould, I'd use it.

if the 12 months return is true then return for sure
Why even bother? It would be like returning a bag of carrots to Tesco because you found a wonky one inside. That little bit of rubber missing is of as much consequence as eating a carrot that's not straight.
You may as well then return it for that one off-colour reddish cord in the casing.
