I have a very small one on the palm of my right hand that was created in about 1976. I accidentally dropped a 0.13 mm Rotring drafting pen into my hand, and the drawing ink left a tiny 1mm dark blue-black dot that remains there to this day. I've always been a bit of a DIY freak...

I have a tat like that on my left hand but mine was made in Primary school. A friend and I thought it would be a good idea to see how sharp we could get our pencils. So rather than paying attention in class were just sharpening away and needless to say had to point it into our fingers to see how sharp they were. After this we pocked each other with our pencils . Said friend then decided that without warning he would just stab me in the hand with his pencil, the lead broke off into my hand and I couldn't get it out so to this day I still have the tattoo.

I don't know if it's the same in the UK but out here it seems more and more people, both men and women, are getting them all over their bodies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
