I might have finally landed a new job *fingers crossed* and I'm thinking about commuting on the bike. I know they have showers and fairly good facilities but I have a bit of a question.

If you are going to shower at work, do you bother showering first thing in the morning before before heading out and then shower after your ride at work. Or do you skip showering at home?

Our showers at work are great, I generally have a wash the night before anyway and then have a shower once I get to work.

I usually skip the shower in the morning at home, and just shower at work. Showers at my work are pretty good, but there can sometimes be a bit of a queue.

Crazy, shower at work.

Maybe if it was "do you shower AFTER work when you get home too", then maybe some won't.

Granted not all of us are sweaty bettys.

I don't even have a shower at work, so I sink wash in the morning then shower when I get home quickly.

We have showers at work, but I don't use them, mainly because I prefer a quick shower when I get up. Take it easy on the way in and baby wipes do the job just as well when I change at work - and takes far less time. Then a shower on getting home (usually a greasy blob as I tend to push a bit harder on the way home).

As long as I breathe, I attack.
I work in a Weld shop so it smells of weld and is warm anyway so i just use deodorant when i get there and have a shower when i get home.I have it on record from Mrs CK that the smell of work is worse than a bit of clean sweat.

we're lucky we have really good showers at work. Better than at home to be honest.

don't really understand why you would shower at home, ride to work, then shower at work. Unless the shower at home was purely to wake up.

Or do you skip showering at home?

I skip it as I've showered after the previous evening's homeward commute.

I shower when I get to work.
