silly question but.....

hi all

might be a bit of a silly question, but i recently purchased a giant defy 5 for some light touring, it has eyelets for a rear rack, but the holes of the eyelets seem to have some kind of plastic stopper thing in it.

does anyone know how to get rid of it?

Hmm, my Defy 2 didn't have any stoppers in the holes, they aren't just some screws are they? My Giant MTB also has rack mounts and it came with some screws in the holes already.

Can you post a picture?

From memory on my Giant just pop it out with a flat headed screwdriver- think it's just there to look tidy and stop water gathering- I had them on my seat stays.
