for a party tomorrow. My others made up already are a bit obscure for a party. So being the host that I am I always try and make up something to suit all tastes even if not mine.

You know something though, the input from 5 other people in the room is astounding to say the least. Jesus some folks taste is in there arse. Seriously!!

Do they not realise I'm the master of making up mixed music for the masses.

I've also got a bone to pick with Mrs Greedo. For someone who claims to not really bother with itunes she's not half been able to buy some amount of shite recently. Lady GaGa's album, Whitesnakes greatest hits, The Ting Tings and every Take That album the highlights discovered so far.........

Erm.......i think Miss Greedo has great taste. Just add some Rockbitch and it will be fine

Blunt, Dido, Winehouse, Lewis and Gray.....that IS a sorry lineup! However, it's jst a reflection of supermarkets and media. Not us....be forgiving, we all made our statement this week with RATM

I'll admit to liking some Dido and Gray, thank you very much... also some Jason Mraz, Eva Cassidy and Beverly Craven if the mood takes.

Alongside this I also enjoy some Metallica, Guns 'n' Roses, The Four Horsemen and Ugly Kid Joe as well as some rather more soothing stuff like Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky, Saint-Saëns and Mozart.

Can't say I have a genre and/or artist that I listen to exclusively, and will give anything a chance.

You shouldn't damn anyone just because of the music they listen to... well, except those that enjoy Ant and Dec in their 'singing' days... obviously.

It's russian and she has had no trouble and her aunty is well up on this sort of thing and would not put my daughter at risk .so you might save a bit of money .have a look .

I'd be very wary of buying from a Russian web site. I'm sure her aunty means no harm, but:

There are many different ways to get your hands on music from the internet - most of which are not legal.

If you're managing to pick up A-list artists for free, then you can be pretty sure that it's not legal. However, there are a few grey areas.

Russian music-download sites, such as mp3sparks.com and goldenmp3.ru, allow you to download chart albums for about $3 - and if you go to the FAQ section on their websites, you'll find a statement saying that they are licensed by the Russia Multimedia and Internet Society (RMIS) and pay licence fees for all music that is sold. This much is true.

However, the RMIS does not redistribute these royalties to the music publishers and record labels, who consequently and understandably do not recognise the Russian regulators and claim that they are being cheated out of millions by them.
